This Sunday you get to celebrate your favorite father! One of our favorite things to do here at Stripped (besides waxing) is to help our clients find that perfect gift. This Father’s Day we want to help create an experience you can both enjoy! We are going to discuss some great options for creating that lasting memory with Dad! Of course there are many things to consider when planning such as what does your favorite father enjoy exactly? Hunting, fishing, sports, the beach, or the mountains? Do you want to do a getaway for him and one other person or a whole group? What if your dad isn’t a big outdoors man? Does he like art, theatre, movies, or reading? There are all sorts of options out there!
For the sports fan Dad, take him to Turner Field on Fathers Day to watch the Braves take down the Angels! Not only will Dad enjoy it, but if you have kids 14 and under they can run the bases just like the pros! Also, in the Fan Plaza, they will have Braves Alumni John Smoltz signing autographs!! This will be a day your whole family will remember! Just don’t forget the peanuts and cracker jacks! And a great way to present the trip to him would be to slip the tickets into a new Braves hat!
Why not take Dad golfing? We know, we know… what a cliche, right? WRONG! It’s a classic for a reason! Golfing is an activity that will both relax him and get his competitive juices flowing! Take him out to Kinderlou Forest for a day of 18 holes and finish it off with an AMAZING dinner at the Ravine! (Trust me… the filet is ridiculously good!!) Want to really impress your favorite dad? Get him lessons with Evan Hanna, the resident pro at Kinderlou, who will definitely improve anyone’s game!
Another great option is to take him to Southwind Sporting Clays and Quail Hunting. They are open Thursday through Sunday and there are different options available for you to have a day of fun with Dad! You can shoot clays on the course, hunt quail, or practice your aim with the shooting range! This will definitely make you the official “favorite child” we guarantee it! While you are in Quitman, don’t forget to stop off and grab something yummy at Coyoacan!
Surprise Dad with tickets for the Special Double Feature of Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles at the Fox Theatre on August 3rd at 2:00pm! No man is going to want to pass that awesome Mel Brooks combo up!! And don’t forget that both of those classics star the talented Gene Wilder as well! Seriously, this is an awesome gift for anyone who enjoys movies! Atlanta also has so many restaurants near Fox that you will have a hard time deciding where to eat but no matter where you will enjoy it! Personally, I enjoy Publik Draft House! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are wonderful and its just a short walk away from the theatre!
Don’t forget that no matter what you do with your favorite dad the whole point is just to spend time with him! Enjoy the moments, small or big. Take the time to really talk to him and actually have the quality time you both deserve! We hope that everyone has an amazing Father’s Day Sunday! Be safe and have fun!!
