Who here LOVES to shop?? Pretty much all of you right? And with Christmas right around the corner, I know so many of you are trying to find the perfect gift for your significant other, family members, children, and friends!! What would you say if I told you there is a place here in Valdosta where you could find almost all of your gifts in one place? Did you all just scream in excitement? Because we sure did!!! It’s that time of year where Merry Marketplace appears like magic (there may or may not be elves involved…I can’t say more… Those guys are vicious with glitter) and makes all our dreams come true! (Ok the shopping dreams… It can’t give you Ryan Gosling covered in chocolate…sorry ladies!) This year Merry Marketplace will be at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center Saturday, November 23rd from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, November 24th from 12pm to 5pm. It only costs $5 to enter the Marketplace. All proceeds from hosting the event are going to various charities and organizations so it really is shopping for a good cause! (Other than finding that perfect treat for your loved ones!) And Stripped is extremely excited to announce that we will be participating in Merry Marketplace this year!! We will be performing facial wax services at our booth and will be taking donations for “Hungry At Home”, an amazing organization that helps feed children in our community that go hungry at night and on weekends. We will also have gift certificates that you can purchase for your loved ones.
