WAXING 101

Here are some basic waxing tips for before you get “Stripped”, be sure to check off all of the items on our checklist. |

We DO NOT recommend Tanning 24 hours before your wax treatment. Tanning before your waxing can cause the skin to lift. |
Your hair should be at least 1/4 inch long. |
DO NOT apply coco butter, lotions or gels to the body area being waxed the day of your appointment. |
If your pain tolerance is low, please take an ibuprofen or naproxen (Aleve) 30 min before your appointment. This is aid in reducing discomfort. |
Please wear comfortable panties/underwear, tight clothing can irritate your freshly waxed skin. |
If you are prone to in-grown hairs or bumps, use an in-grown roll-on treatment such as PFB Vanish. |
Now that you’ve been “Stripped”, here are a few things you need to know to assist you, for the best experience. |

No tanning for upto 24 hours after your wax treatment. Tanning after your wax treatment can cause irritation or even burns. |
Only used approved products, suggested by your Esthetician, on the waxed area until the following day. |
Taking care using chlorinated swimming pools, and DO NOT use hot tubs or saunas for 24 hours after waxing. |
Shower immediately after exercise, to keep hair follicles clean. |
Moisturize the area daily with a natural body lotion, ask your Esthetician for recommendations. |
Exfoliate every other day with a mitt and natural body wash. We highly recommend Supracor SpaCell or Bath Mitts |
